Has anyone experienced difficulty recieving replies forwarded via HTTP?

I have a PHP script set up to store the replies and forward them to an email address - the script works when posted to it locally, but not remotely.
I'm pretty sure its something to do with allowing remote access, but can't figure out what the issue is.
I have tried disabling the firewall but no luck there.

Anyone had this problem?

Also - just checked the apache access logs for the server and it doesn't seem to have received any post requests from outside?
