Hi I am new to ActiveSMS and trying to see if I can get it working, but not winning.

I am trying to setup ActiveSMS using a USB GSM Multi Channel 8 way which is marked PG-Q24U.

We get the following error:

To prove the modem is not faulty I installed a standard Vodacom USB K3805Z GSM Modem and manage to get to the point where it seems to work, but a Transport comms failure:

During the initial test that passes it does report PE: Warning - Unable to get device information

Please can you help me. It would be first prize to get the 8 port working

Thanks in advance

This looks like a baudrate issue.

Please try changing the baudrate to other settings, e.g. 9600, 19200 or 115200

To change the baudrate in the ActiveSMS Wizard click on the 'Comms Settings' button.
