i have downloaded the trial version of active sms and i have some question for which i didn't found a solution in the manual. we use the gsm modem also for outgoing calls so is there any way to set activesms to connect only every 5 minutes to the gsm modem? cause a durable connection impeded outgoing calls through the modem.

2nd question: is there a way to write sms via web without asp. in the examples is only an example for asp but it woult be perfect if this goes also with javascript or something else.

Here are answers to your questions:

First question: It is not possible to configure ActiveSMS to make temporary connection to the GSM Modem. By design, ActiveSMS makes a permanent connection to the GSM Modem and holds the comms port open.

Second question: The COM Component can be used from via JavaScript. Using the COM Component you will be able to send message from JavaScript.
