2 way message is part of the standard service. When you send a message our system can automatically add a reply number for your message.

The SMS reply service is available free of charge on all SMS account, you do not need a dedicated number. Reply messages sent by the mobile user are charged at their standard network. SMS replies can be view in your SMS Inbox and can also be forwarded via HTTP/S or Email. Please section 4.1 of the HTTP Interface document for details of the HTTP forwarding.

To use the SMS reply service make sure that you do not specify a Sender's Id (by leaving the 'from' field blank) when sending the message to the mobile phone.

Please note the reply service using UK based (e.g. +447xxx xxxxxx) number. Therefore internal users may be charged at international message rates.

The number that you are seeing are the number used by the reply service to receive replies back from the mobile phone.

You can specifiy your own reply number when sending a message (this is the Sender's ID), however any replies will go directly to the number you have given.

For example, if you specifiy your mobile number as the sender's Id, then replies will go directly to your mobile. As replies are not going back throught the our system they will not be displayed in your account's SMS Inbox.
